Gyeongju city was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. The historical remains of the Silla Dynasty are divided into five districts, with Namsan, Wolseong, Daereungwon, Hwangnyongsa Temple and Sanseong making up the Gyeongju Historic District.
